Rusty, sticky, flaking, dull gray, or handed down with a mystery history: bring your cast iron and carbon steel, along with any questions you’ve been saving up. We’ll look at each piece with you, figure out what’s going on, and talk through what it needs.

Often the fix is simpler than you’d expect. Some pans just need to be cooked in more. Others need a full strip and reseason. Either way, you’ll leave knowing what to do next.

Available to purchase: 5-gallon lye tank supplies for stripping at home, plus seasoning supplies for home use.

Seasoning Day

Bring clean pans and season them on site in our smoker. Drop off a round, shop Wild Camp Goods and the neighboring businesses between coats, and come back for another or take your pan home ready to cook.

Smoker space is limited, so come early if you’d like multiple coats.

Seasoning Day is a separate, optional event. You don’t need to attend the clinic first, and you don’t need to come back to finish what you started at the clinic. It’s just there if you’d like a hand.
